1. Introduction

As per the annual academic plan of Sunbarsi Secondary School, Ratuwamai-5, Morang, Nepal, an Educational Tour 2082 was organized with the objective of providing students with practical exposure beyond the classroom. The tour aimed to familiarize students with real social, cultural, religious, and natural environments and to enhance their experiential learning. This report presents the objectives, participation details, places visited, and overall outcomes of the educational tour.

2. Tour Dates

The educational tour was successfully conducted for two days on 18th and 19th Magh, 2082.

3. Participating Students

A total of 18 students from Grades 8 to 12 actively participated in the tour. The details are as given below:

The educational tour focused on various religious, touristic, and naturally significant sites of Ilam and Jhapa districts.

- Kanyam
- Antu Danda and other surrounding places

b) Jhapa District

- Pau Pathibhara
- Arjundhara and other nearby places

6. Objectives of the Tour

The main objectives of the educational tour were:

- to provide students with direct observation of religious, cultural, and natural heritage.

- to help students understand curriculum-related topics through practical exposure.

- to develop discipline, cooperation, leadership skills, and social behavior among students.

- to enhance mutual harmony, cooperation, and team spirit.

- to promote experiential learning through educational travel.

7. Management and Discipline

Throughout the tour, arrangements for transportation, accommodation, food, and safety were managed under the direct supervision of the participating teachers and staff. Students were instructed to follow school rules and maintain discipline, which they successfully demonstrated during the entire tour period.

8. Achievements and Learning Outcomes

During the tour, students observed various historical, religious, and natural sites and gained knowledge about their importance. They experienced natural beauty, local culture, and social structures firsthand. As a result, noticeable improvement was observed in students’ confidence, sense of responsibility, and practical knowledge.

9. Conclusion

Overall, the Educational Tour 2082 organized by Sunbarsi Secondary School was completed successfully in a disciplined and purposeful manner. Such educational tours play a vital role in the holistic development of students; therefore, it is recommended that similar programs be continued in the future.

10. Suggestions

To make future educational tours more effective, it is suggested to conduct pre-tour orientation programs, post-tour student reports, and presentation sessions.
